since i have the swine flu, and i was am stuck in quarantine, i was rifling through my old things and found one of my diary's from when i was 16. omg *face palm* i wrote some pretty embarrassingly bad things in there... soooo i decided to post this wonderful sight i like to read every now and then in honor of my 16 year old diary....

WHAT IS TEEN ANGST POETRY? Teen angst poetry is written between the ages of 12-18 (or later) when one is depressed or hurt. It is an outlet for the most "profound" thoughts ...or so you thought at the time - those "YES! this is so what I mean!" moments. Most often teen angst poetry has horrible rhyming schemes and very obvious metaphors. Common themes include: I am alone, No one understands my pain, I will never love again, Fuck you, Fuck off, Go to hell, and Life sucks.

hahahahahahaha, oh man, I still have my diaries from the age of 8 onwards. Every single diary I ever had. They're FILLED with angsty shit...oh man...I can't wait to go through them and post the retarded shit I used to write.

I also think I still have some old poems that boyfriends would send me when we broke up. I'll post those too for sure...they're so awesome. One guy even spent the first month after we broke up sending me drawings of dragons with some semi-clothed (in leather) goth queen riding them. I dunno why..I never expressed a fascination with dragons, and I was never a goth...grunge for sure, but never goth. I never figured out what he was trying to communicate to me with those drawings...other than the fact that he was seriously imbalanced. I'll see of I can find them.

i was dumped by my first GF in an email poem that was so bad I had to call her to explain it.

I couldn't find the best poem I got from an ex...my emails in my account only go back to Aug. 2002, and this was sent in 2001. Fuck, I remember it being hilarious too.

yeah it did make it strange. she always left random poems around the house... needless to say she ended up getting evicted, and i ended up moving out of town shortly afterwards.
