It's finally here. After 4 months of competition we are down to the final 4. Should be an amazing show. Don't miss it!!!

We decided to keep an "every man for themselves" format for the finals as opposed to making the winners compete directly against each other in VS sets.

Each DJ will have a full hour to perform, the order of which will be decided at the event.

Here is the updated judging criteria:

Track Selection (Playing music appropriate to the event, tracks people like, hidden gems etc) - 20%

Mixing Ability (Beatmatch Sync, length of blend) - 20%

Flow/Programming ("The journey", response, vibe, do people feel your set, can they lose themselves to the music) - 20%

Stage Presence/Crowd Interaction (Hyping the crowd, dancing around, feeling the music yourself etc) - 15%

Flair/Tricks (Scratching, beat juggling, back spins etc) - 10%

Voting (Your fans/friends buy drinks to vote, maximum of 15 votes per contestant, most competitors get full marks in this category, ensuring it's a competition based on skill, besides, getting people out is an important part of DJing!!) - 15%

Note that we have secured Lotus Lounge for the finals. This is more of a club environment and competitors will have to adapt to this environment. The DJ booth at Lotus is suspended from the ceiling, and there is no room for large amounts of additional equipment. Please be prepared to play on the two tech 12's and two CDJ1000's + Professional Mixer provided. There will be no swapping out mixers, CDJ's, Turntables etc. The only exception is something that can be plugged directly into the current system without much configuration, like a small laptop/midi controller with stand, external percussion etc.

Competitors must be at the venue for 10 PM for registration. We will be announcing our guests judges and prizes shortly.
