I keep getting an error when making a post in the forum. What's wrong?
Check to make sure you aren't putting anything in [ ] that isn't BB Code. Example: If you put [rave] in your post it won't work because it is not BBcode.

Why do some people have "
" under their name in the forums?
It means that the user who has one has donated to the site and its symbol of recognition and thanks. You can get one by making a donation to the site via the Donation Button on the left hand side of the site.
How do I start or stop getting email notifications for certain things?
There are two components that have the ability to send out email notifications, the private messages and the forums.
- In the forums, you can be notified of replies by email to certain threads that you choose. You do this by pushing the Subscribe button at the button of the subject. You can turn this off by clicking Unsubscribe when you don't want to receive notifications anymore.
- You can setup your private messages to send you emails of every message sent to you via PM or to send you messages when you are not online. Just remember to Logoff or else you might not get the emails for a while. All these options can be setup in the Settings button found in the Private Messages component.
I close the site but I'm told I still appear online. Why is that?
It means you didn't click Logoff before closing the site. This means it will show you as being online for about 30 mins before the session timeout. So remember to Logoff before you leave the site.
How do I change my profile settings / upload an Actual Picture / setup Twitter / control Profile Views / Etc?
Click on My Profile ->Edit Profile button. From there you select the tabs you want altered or filled in. For the Actual Picture, click on the drop down box to see the upload image function.
Is there anyway to be set to hidden or invisable so people can't see that I'm online?
Not at this time but it is on the request list.
Why have some bugs not been fixed / features not yet implemented?
This system is actually a collection of various modules, plugins, and components all coded by different people. I can't go to just one developer to have an issue fixed. I usually have to wait for them to release an update or answer my question in their own support forums. This leaves me basicly waiting for them to get around to it and sometimes, they take a very very long time to make the fix, if ever. My only other choice is to hire a coder who knows Joomla and Community Builder as well the various components I've incorperated. At this time, I can't afford that. This is where the donations come in handy.
