Rules and Terms of Service (T.O.S.) for using RaveCanada.Net.

These rules as well as any other posted rules on this site by the adminstrators are subject to change at any time. By creating an account and using this site, you are agreeing to the following rules AND terms of service listed below.

General:

• One account per person.
• Pissing off the admins will get you banned. This site is not a democracy where you can say or do anything you want. We are reasonable people but do not test us. In the end, we have final say on any matter related to this site.

Private Messaging System:

• You will NOT use this system to send anyone unsolicited promotional/commercial messages (spam).
• You will NOT use this system for any sort of illegal activity, threats or solicitation of any kind.
• If you recieve any of the above through your private messaging system please contact either the moderator or the admin and report the problem.

Posting Events (Forum and/or Event Calendar):

• Do NOT post your event until all DJs and performers listed on the bill have been confirmed.
• Do NOT post your event until you have confirmed a legal venue.
• Failing to follow these rules will result in having your event removed from the system.

Using the Forums:

• RaveCanada.Net is a site built on mutual respect.  People who post messages that are not in this spirit will have their posts deleted and they will be warned and/or banned. These include messages that are considered to be: racist, discriminatory, sexist, threatening, obscene, offensive, derogatory, flame bait, trolling or feeding the trolls. Remember not everyone shares the same sense of humor so think before you post anything.
• Discussion of or uploading images containing drugs or other illegal acts are prohibited.
• Spoiler tag all images that would be considered NSFW (not safe for work).
• Posting images of or links to copyrighted works without permission of the copyright holder is prohibited (this includes torrents).
• Arguing with the moderators or system admins in a public forum is not allowed. Use the Private Messaging System to resolve any issues.
• Certain forum catagories have additional rules that must be followed and are subject to the same rules and concequences.
• There are more rules in the forums section that you must also read and follow. They can be found in the Rules section at the top of the forums.

Anyone caught disobeying these rules will be warned and/or have their account suspended. Repeat offences will lead to suspension of your account and possibly perminant banning of the user. Depending on the servarity of the issue, the user's ISP may be contacted as well as the police. Once again, think before you post. There is no "3 strikes" rule here.
